Query about rev 3282
Do the changes in that revision imply that using a bios dump and activating that option increases emulation speed?
If so, under what conditions?

It does imply what it says: when using the bios, you can use that hack to improve speed. Using the bios will never be faster than not using it, as the second is 100% native code, and the first has to be interpreted.
